Battle of Round Mountain Marker
and Site

 

            
           The Battle of Round Mountain (1861), was the first Civil War battle
           fought in Indian Territory.  The historic battle ground is located
           approximately one mile South of Hwy 51 on Coyote Trail and one
           mile south on Tower Road.  This marker is located on the South
