Old Appalachia Town Site

Now underwater, Appalachia was at the center for bars, prostitution, and gambling in the 1890's.  Located at the corner of Pawnee Creek and Tulsa Counties, the illegal trades merely moved to another nearby county when law enforcement turned on the heat!
