The Hayden Ranch House was built around 1900. It's ruins can be seen by boat on the north portion of Salt Creek and on the East Bank.
Before the stone house was built outlaw Belle Star, rented the original Hayden Ranch house and bought and sold
horses there, many of which were stolen.
