The problem that customers are having with intermittent websites can be fixed by changing the protocol on their routers from PPPoA to PPPoE. This can be changed by doing the following:
Find the gateway for the router and loging. By default it is 192.168.1.1 with no username or password.

After logging in go to Configuration, then Advanced WAN (and depending on the routers model) you may see WAN or VC.
On the first line, VCI 35 Protocol PPPoA and Edit, choose Edit.

Click the down arrow beside the Protocol option and change to PPPoE.

Scroll to the bottom and choose Set VC. It will then request that the router be reset and restarted, choose yes, this should take about 30 seconds. You should be able to reach all sites after router restarts.
